Please read the terms & conditions carefully before using Snow Trail Tours & Holidays services (referred herein as 'we', 'our', 'us, 'Snow Trail Tours & Holidays', 'company').

Please do not make any booking unless you understand and agree with the following booking conditions.

These terms & conditions applies to all bookings the end-user (herein referred to as 'you', 'client(s)', 'customer(s)', 'traveler(s)', 'guest(s)', 'his, 'her', 'their', 'participant(s)') make with us over call, through our website, by e-mail or by walk-in.

Please note : if you're making a booking for traveler(s) other than yourself, you consent that these terms & conditions will bind such traveler(s) also.

Travel Documents:

It’s the sole responsibility of the traveler(s) to carry proper travel documents including but not just limited to passport, visa, confirmed tickets (of flight, train & bus), proof of identification which is necessary for your scheduled tour.

Passport:

All traveler(s) should have a valid passport for international travel with at least 180 days of validity from the date of return. Do note that when you are making an international booking, we proceed by assuming that all traveler(s) have a valid passport. It is the customer’s responsibility to notify us if that is not the case. NRIs, OCIs, foreign nationals must have relevant documents confirming their citizenship status before proceeding to book a package with us. Please note, it is the sole responsibility of the customer(s) to confirm the details of their Citizenship/Nationality at the time of booking. Any penalties, fines or expenditures suffered as a result of improper travel documents or not meeting the conditions of appropriate authorities will be your sole responsibility (except to the extent caused by fault on our part).

Visa & Permit Conditions

Documents related to visa are a must to process any international booking. Customer(s) can also apply for visas on their own and deliver us a valid visa copy or can seek our assistance in the visa application process. Then too, it is the traveler(s) responsibility to share all necessary documents with correct information for the visa application process. In cases where we process visas on customer(s) behalf, please note we are just coordinators and we do not guarantee the approval of your visa permit. Also, a grant of a visa does not give you the right to entry to the respective country, if the concerned authorities does not find it fit.

Snow Trail Tours & Holidays is not responsible for the denial of entry, or any charge you may incur to clear this process out and/or for your return trip. Please note, if your visa application is denied/cancelled, your holiday bookings is also considered cancelled. If a booking has already been made, refund if any will be calculated and returned to the customer(s) through their original payment method within 10 working days.

On-Arrival Visa:

Foreign Nationality Travelers:

Please be informed, when any foreign national is opting for an Indian holiday tour, the Government of India has the provisions to grant on-arrival visas for certain countries’ passport holders. In such scenarios, the onus of bringing all necessary documents including but not limited to photograph, authorization letter, application form, amount to be paid for visas, etc as required by the respective country’s policy is on the tour participant(s). The traveler(s) are responsible to familiarize themselves with necessary documents required for on-arrival visa & should have all necessary documents for smooth visa processing. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will not be responsible or liable if your on-arrival visa is denied due to lack of any documents or any valid reason provided by the local government. In such scenarios, the tour will be deemed cancelled & Snow Trail Tours & Holidays may not initiate a refund.

Please note that the traveller(s) are responsible to familiarize themselves with necessary documents needed for on-arrival visa processing and have all required documents for smooth visa processing. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays is not responsible or liable if your on-arrival visa is denied due to lack of any document or any other valid reason given by the local government. In such cases, the tour will be deemed cancelled and Snow Trail Tours & Holidays may not initiate refund.

Photo Identification Documents:

It is mandatory for you to carry valid & original photo identification such as Aadhar card, PAN card, Voter ID card, Resident ID card, Passport and School/College ID cards if you are a student. You may have to produce any of the mentioned documents in modes of commute, locations, places of accommodations, sight-seeing entries as proof to confirm your booking identity and information.

Communication:

When a customer confirms a booking, all relevant information related to the tour will be sent via our registered number’s WhatsApp message, SMS and/or registered E-mail. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays does not guarantee successful delivery of messages that are sent. It is your duty to make sure that the mobile number, WhatsApp number (if different from mobile number) & email address given to us at the time of booking is accurate and is in working condition & within a reliable network coverage area.

Kindly note that it is the responsibility of traveler(s) to update Snow Trail Tours & Holidays with any form of changes in contact details that may happen after making a confirmed booking. We are not responsible if we aren’t able to contact you regarding the tour details if your contact details are not updated in our database.

Health & Fitness

It is your responsibility in ensuring that you are physically fit enough to meet any health standards required for your travel destination. Please note that it is the traveler’(s) duty to inform Snow Trail Tours & Holidays about any hindrance that may arise on tour because of his/her health condition. Traveler(s) would have to bear any expenses incurred due to his/her health deterioration on tour. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays reserves the right to ask for a valid fitness certificate before the scheduled tour departure, failure of which can lead to refusal of our services and cancellation of your tour request from us. Please do note in such scenarios no refund will be processed. Any service provider at your destinations may refuse to offer their services on account of your poor health condition, please do note Snow Trail Tours & Holidays does not take responsibility for such situations. Therefore, traveler(s) are advised to be very careful & mindful about their general health conditions and the limits set by the destination sites. Also, traveler(s) should ensure that they carry all the necessary medications and medical documents to avoid any inconvenience. Please do note that some countries have a list of vaccinations that they expect the traveler(s) to have taken before they enter the mentioned country, traveler(s) are expected to meet those conditions, failure of which will lead to decline of entry permit. In such scenarios, the tour will be deemed cancelled and Snow Trail Tours & Holidays may not initiate refund.

Participation In Adventure Activities:

Tour plans may have some adventure activities involved, that are part of major tourist attractions at the destination(s), participation in such adventure activities is totally voluntary. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will not influence any clients(s) to participate in such events. If the client(s) wishes to participate, he/she may do so with their own will. However, please do note that there might be a possibility to encounter loss, physical or mental injury or even untimely death while performing such adventure activities. Traveler(s) are requested to take part in such activities only after taking necessary precautionary steps and ensuring that it’s safe for them to proceed. Please note that Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will not be held responsible for such unforeseen incidents that may happen due to the participation of traveler(s) in such activities. By confirming a booking or going through a tour and taking part in such adventure activities, you hereby confirm that you are fully and well aware of any danger involved in such events, that you are equipped wholly & mentally sound, that you wish to participate in such events at your own discretion only, and that you will not hold us liable or responsible for any unfortunate outcome.

Risk And Safety Assessment:

It is the tour participant(s) sole responsibility to assess the risk and safety aspects involved in your tour plan and make a sound decision accordingly. Please communicate about your expectations, needs & wants very clearly with our respective representatives. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will endeavor hard to fulfill your expectations of the tour, but we cannot guarantee that all your wishes will be 100% met. External factors like bad weather conditions, life risk situations or any other form of hazardous situation may play a spoilsport in such scenarios that are out of our control, may arise during your period on tour. We request you to be prepared for any unforeseen danger or threats that we may face during our tour. A booking confirmation & participation in a tour means that you agree to accept any risks known or unknown which may arise during the scheduled tour itinerary.

Medical Emergencies & First-Aid:

Traveler(s) are requested to be careful that even after planning thoroughly for a safe trip, any tour participant(s) may face some medical emergencies. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays may have a qualified staff equipped to handle and administer first-aid, should any emergency occur. In such situations, the consent to perform first-aid to the traveler(s) in need, shall be deemed understood. By booking a tour and participating in it, you agree without any further consent that our qualified staff may administer first-aid if such medical emergency scenarios arise. However, please do note, very carefully that first-aids are performed to protect the person and prevent further escalation of illness or injury until a professional medical team arrives.

In certain situations, even after performing first-aid, based on the seriousness of the injury or illness, condition of the traveler(s) who is injured or ill can deteriorate before a medical team can intervene. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will strive to do our best to provide primary care, but we will not be held responsible or liable should the injury or illness continue to become severe before a medical team arrives on the scene.

Price Details:

Prices quoted are subject to change and can be withdrawn or changed without notice until the payment is made in full. Change in prices may occur due to factors such as increased fare, fuel surcharges & currency fluctuations. It is your sole responsibility to make sure that you are making the UpToDate price on the day of full payment. All quotations will be mentioned in the tour package in details.

Liabilities:

Traveler(s) participating in any activity/tour/travel booking do so at their own risk and release, discharge and indemnify Snow Trail Tours & Holidays and all associated personnel from and against all liability concerning any loss/injury that they may sustain, on account of negligence caused by any independent operator.

Snow Trail Tours & Holidays also bears no responsibilities for any inconvenience caused under the following circumstances:

  1. Loss or damage of valuable items such as jewelry, expensive equipment’s, gifts, bag, luggage and/or any property or possession of traveler(s).
  2. Transportation services (such as bus, cruise, flight, taxi, train and/or van) delay that are not in our control.
  3. Any meals or services that are part of your tickets not being properly served.
  4. For any injury, illness or untimely death.
  5. For any loss or damage caused by any third-party operators.
  6. Unprecedented events such as bad weather, bandh, hartals, war, strike, security concerns, unexpected crowd at sight-seeing locations, road works, traffic issues, unforeseen calamities & disasters natural or human-made.
  7. Any such unfortunate events over which we have no control.

By making confirming a booking, you agree without the need to get any further consent from you to sign a liability waiver form and indemnity form before the departure of tour.

Special Requirements:

It is your responsibility to communicate or inform us regarding any special needs/requirements that you may wish to have such as candle light dinner, room decorations, room type, disabled access, special meals etc. Our team will make the best efforts to fit in your reasonable request wherever & however possible. Please note that making these special arrangements involves quite a few external factors which may be out of our control. Hence, Snow Trail Tours & Holidays does not guarantee the fulfilment of all your special requirements when things are out of our control.

Schedule Changes:

A change in the tour itinerary may happen due to any of the below mentioned reasons. Please be mindful that Snow Trail Tours & Holidays does not guarantee any kind of compensation or refund under the following circumstances.

  1. We reserve the right to change the itinerary at any given point of time until the tour date ends.
  2. Activities & information regarding the itinerary are subject to availability and may change as they depend on several external factors that are out of our control.
  3. The itinerary may change under situations related of Act of God/Unavoidable Casualties/Inevitable Accidents/Unforeseen Circumstances. Any additional costs incurred due to such changes will have to be borne by the traveler(s).
  4. We reserve the right to detour to any place other than what is mentioned in the itinerary at any time during the tour to maximize the possibility of having an exquisite experience.
  5. Any such activities that are dependent on weather conditions will be carried out only if it is suitable. If such activities are cancelled due to bad weather conditions, refunds will be processed only if applicable.
  6. Any unplanned or unusual actions (dragging the course of sight-seeing, deviating from the tour itinerary, unacceptable behavior or not being punctual) caused by the traveler(s) shall have consequences in the total tour itinerary.
  7. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will try to book alternate arrangements in cases of giving up the original itinerary due to reasons which are beyond our control. In such scenarios, traveler(s) will have to bear any additional expenses incurred.
  8. In cases of any unexpected disruption, cancellation or delay of travel by any common carrier such as bus, flights, ship, train, etc., Snow Trail Tours & Travels will reschedule/rebook the next available suitable options. Any additional expenses incurred due to such changes should be borne by the traveler(s).
  9. If a scheduled tour itinerary is rescheduled due to any unavoidable circumstances (personal or otherwise, for example bad weather, flight disruptions, etc.), Snow Trail Tours & Travels will not be held responsible or liable to refund any unused part of the tour (monetary or otherwise).

Request For Change Of Itinerary:

When a client makes a booking & wants to include any changes in the itinerary after the booking has been confirmed, he/she must do so at least 20 days before the tour starts (applicable for both domestic and international traveler(s)). Snow Trail Tours & Travels will try to consider the client's request to incorporate such changes. However, we do not guarantee that any or all such change requests will be met. Please do note that making any or such changes to the itinerary will alter the tour cost accordingly. Traveler(s) have to incur any additional expenses that may arise due to change in the original tour plan. Also, do note that Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will not accept any form of change request within 20 days of date of departure and also during the course of the tour (applicable for both domestic and international traveler(s)).

Booking Conditions:

When you are making a booking over phone, by email or by walking-in, it is your sole responsibility to do the following:

  1. To make sure that you communicate clearly with our team members about your tour plans, any special requirements, intent and purpose of visit.
  2. Kindly give correct and proper information regarding your contact details to process & confirm your booking in a hassle-free manner.
  3. Please share all the necessary & valid documents to process & confirm your booking.
  4. Make sure that your requirements are conveyed correctly & properly to our team members.
  5. Kindly check the quoted price for your own clarification regarding the tour cost.
  6. Make sure that you have received an acknowledgement of booking from Snow Trail Tours & Holidays in terms of SMS, WhatsApp message or email.
  7. Make sure that you have read all our Terms & Conditions & that you have understood and agreed to all the given conditions.

Privacy Of Information:

Kindly read our privacy policy on our website (https://www.snowtrailtours.in) to know more about how we collect, use & protect your personal identifiable data.

For promotional purposes, Snow Trail Tours & Holidays may take photos/videos of traveler(s) enjoying the various tourist attractions. We shall use these photos/videos on our website, social media pages, brochures & newsletters to promote our services. By booking a tour with us and participating in it, you agree without the need to give any further consent that we may use these photos/videos for our promotional activities. If you wish to exclude your photos/videos from being used for promotional events, traveler(s) are hereby requested to do so by writing an email to us. Please do note that we will exclude your photos/videos from any promotional use only if we receive an email asking for the same. Otherwise, we reserve the right to proceed with our promotions, without any further consent.

Payment Conditions:

It is the traveler(s) responsibility to make the payments on time, as mentioned below. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays reserves the right to cancel the tour & further process no refund in cases where payments are not made on time.

Cancellation Conditions:

Cancellations from your side will attract charges as mentioned below. The cost totally depends on the duration between the start of your tour and the date of your cancellation.

Some exclusive tours will have a different Payment & Cancellation policy, which will be notified to the client(s), at the time of booking. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will mention the same in the respective confirmation voucher.

Please do note that we will incur a 100% cancellation charge on your tour cost if:

  1. The traveler(s) fails to show up on day 1 of the tour without any prior information
  2. The traveler(s) deviates/withdraws from the tour midway.

Cancellation or Rescheduling of Tour from Snow Trail Tours & Holidays:

Snow Trail Tours & Holidays reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the tour at any time before departure. Tour cost would be refunded within 14 working days if we initiated the cancellation. We are not responsible for any additional expenses you incur because of any arrangements made on your own. If the tour is rescheduled by us, the tour cost will depend totally upon the time matching the rescheduled dates. Extra or short payments, if any will be collected or refunded to or from the traveler(s).

Also do note:

  1. Whenever a choice of rescheduling of tour dates is offered, applicable cash refunds will be initiated only after the lapse of reschedule period.
  2. Certain parts of the tour costs such as Visa fee may not be refunded if it is already processed.

Advise for Cancellation:

In certain conditions, the scheduled tour may be possible with all services operational but the local scenario may pose an unfavorable environment such as worsening weather conditions, intensifying local political tensions, any breakout of disease or any event that may lead to distress or disruptions to the tour program even when the local government body has not issued any travel advisory or border closure or cancellation notice. In such cases, Snow Trail Tours & Holidays may advise the traveler(s) to reconsider their trip & cancelling it due to the possibility of facing any danger or discomfort upon continuing the tour as per schedule. However, it shall be the sole choice of the traveler(s) to decide whether or not to continue the tour in such untoward events. Please note:

  1. If the participant(s) wishes to cancel the tour, regular cancellation policy will be applicable and refunds if any will be processed according to the aforementioned policy.
  2. If the participant(s) wishes to continue the tour as per schedule, Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will not be responsible or liable for inconvenience caused on tour.

Service Provider Rights:

Snow Trail Tours & Holidays reserves the right to accept or decline a booking request made by the client(s). We also reserve the rights to refuse services to the client(s) under the following circumstances:

  1. When traveler(s) are aggressive, rude and/or abusive.
  2. When traveler(s) violate our strict no-drinking & no-drug consumption policy while on tour.
  3. When traveler(s) disrupt our services with their inconvenient behavior.
  4. When traveler(s) turns aggressive or violent with one another, with our representatives, the general public, local authorities or our personnel who are a point of contact during the tour duration.
  5. When traveler(s) are unreasonably conflicting with other members of the group, our representatives, the general public, local authorities or any personnel who are a point of contact during the tour duration.
  6. When traveler(s) wander off without informing our local representatives.
  7. In such scenarios & cases, we reserve the right to terminate our service contract with the concerned party(s) effective immediately.

Please note in such cases Snow Trail Tours & Holidays does not have any obligation to pay compensation costs, make alternate arrangements or process refund.

Policy on Alcohol & Drugs:

Snow Trail Tours & Holidays has a strict no-drinking and no-banned drugs consumption policy for the complete period of the tour. Traveler(s) are obligated not to carry any liquor or any other banned/illegal substances with them for the entire tour. Carrying any such prohibited substances may result in serious legal charges against the traveler(s) as deemed by relevant authorities. If any client(s) are under the influence/intoxicated/inebriated during the tour period, we reserve the right to stop them from engaging in any events for the safety and wellbeing of all other parties involved and/or proceed the tour without them. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will not have any obligation to assist such client(s) who are inebriated and are an inconvenience to fellow tour participant(s). We reserve the right to even terminate the tour contract effective immediately, and we are not liable/responsible for any fines, penalties, additional charges or any unlikely conclusion the client(s) may face due to his/her actions.

Accommodation:

Room Sharing:

As part of your accommodation facilities, we book hotels, resorts, homestays, hostels & also make arrangement for camping (if possible) at every destination, keeping in mind the level of comfort, satisfaction, budge and ease of accessibility. Room allocation will be totally based on the number of people participating in the respective tour. The maximum number of people allowed per room will be at par with the hotel policy and this remains unchanged throughout the total tour time. Violation of this rule may attract a penalty or additional charges from the hotel management, for which the traveler(s) will be held responsible. If the client(s) wishes to change a particular room or ask for an extra bedding, he/she may notify our representative present on tour and we will make necessary arrangements. However, if there are any additional expenses it will be borne by the customer(s).

If a single passenger books a spot in a group tour, unless it is clearly mentioned while booking, we would proceed to follow our default system of double occupancy, bunk-bed or room-sharing arrangement for that single person. If a full family with children wants to reside in a room together, we will make necessary arrangements so that the children can be with their families. However, if the maximum occupancy rule (which includes additional bed) of the hotel management exceeds, Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will try & make arrangements so as to accommodate a single family together.

Other Service Charges:

If the client(s) desires to avail additional features given by the hotel (like room service, laundry, spa, recreational activities, bar, telephone, paid TV channels, use of mini-bar in the room), he/she may do so but at their own expenses. The tour package cost of Snow Trail Tours & Holidays does not include costs related to additional bed, room services, tipping, laundry services, any charges for the use of recreational facilities at the hotel, food (apart from the meals provided by us), use of bar facilities, use of mini-bar in the room, telephone, paid TV channels. However, traveler(s) can use any free services offered by the hotels/resorts such as gym, swimming pool etc., as per the rules stipulated by the hotel’s management.

Please keep in mind, that the management of these accommodations generally operates according to their own set of rules and regulations. Failing to abide by these rules will surely attract charges or penalties. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will not be responsible and neither will we involve in any disputes that may arise because of violations of these preset rues by the traveler(s). If we aren’t able to book the selected hotels/resorts for the trip period due to reasons which are beyond our control, Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will make necessary alternate arrangements in other accommodation facilities keeping in consideration the level of comfort of the client(s). Keep in mind, we are not liable should there be any kind of deviation that may occur in accommodation on rare occasions.

Check-In & Check-Out Timing:

The check-in and check-out timing depends totally on the rules of the place of stay. They reserve the rights to accept or decline an early check-in or late check-out request made by the client(s). They may or may not entertain guest(s) even if he/she is willing to pay any extra amount for early check-in or late check-out, it is at the discretion of the hotel management. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays tries to schedule itineraries in such a way that these situations are avoided, however we do not guarantee nor are we responsible for situations where client(s) needs an early check-in or late check-out, until & unless it was conveyed to us at the time of booking the tour package.

Traveler(s) who are sure about an early check-in or a late check-out, must notify us about this at the time of booking so that our team may take necessary steps to arrange such facilities if required through extra payment to avoid any inconvenience. Kindly note that these additional charges will be included in the cost of tour package and shall be borne by the guest(s).

Meal Services:

All tours that include meal provisions, which are part of our services will be stated clearly during the enquiring phase and in your final confirmation email/text message/WhatsApp message. It is the duty of guest(s) to inquire & confirm such provisions with our representatives while booking the tour package. Client(s) are hereby requested to inform our representatives regarding any requirements for special meals such as allergies, baby meal, fasting meal prior to the booking. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will ensure that your reasonable requests are met in our meal provision. However, we cannot guarantee that all of your meal requests will be fulfilled due to reasons which are beyond our control. We will try to offer alternatives in such scenarios, and you have full right to accept or decline such options. Traveler(s) are requested to be punctual in collecting their respective meals on time specially breakfast if it is provided in the hotels/resorts/stays. It is nearly impossible to hold meals due to various operational constraints & timing. Kindly note that we will not be responsible if you have missed a meal & have incurred additional charges for alternate meal options. Special meals like Candle Light Dinner, Open-Air Barbecue or Group meals which requires a lot of effort will be arranged on request basis only. Kindly note that if we do not receive any request for special meal before departure, we will proceed with our regular meal provision for all our guest(s). For client(s) who is in need of special meal provisions but did not request before, Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will try & help to find you an appropriate meal option for which the respective guest(s) would have to bear the expenses. Please do note that in these kind of situations, guest(s) cannot hold Snow Trail Tours & Holidays responsible or liable.

In some places, we may provide passes or tokens for meals so that tour participant(s) can directly collect their meals from respective food stalls.

On tours where any forms of meal is not included in the package, Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will take the traveler(s) to appropriate restaurants during mealtime. Customer(s) reserves the right to use those facilities.

Complimentary Snacks:

As part of our complimentary welcome kit we at Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will provide complimentary fresh water bottles & cookies to our guest(s) on arrival at Srinagar airport.

We will provide snacks from time to time over the duration of tour, traveler(s) have the right to accept/decline such complimentary snacks offered by Snow Trail Tours & Holidays. Kindly note that we are not the manufacturers of such complimentary food items. We just collaborate with other vendors to treat our customer(s), and therefore we disown any responsibility for the taste, smell, texture & after-effects of such products. However, guest(s) are most welcome to register their complaints with us and we shall work hard to achieve your expectations & happiness.

Snow Trail Tours & Holidays Tour Representatives:

A representative of Snow Trail Tours & Holidays (Tour Manager/Tour Leader/Instructor/Assistant/Guide cum Driver) or any other staff will accompany the traveler(s) on all the relevant tour packages & sites. Kindly note that the duty of Snow Trail Tours & Holidays’ representatives is only to assist, guide & manage guest(s) in terms of activities & sight-seeing. They are not compelled to be a personal assistant of anyone or a security for you or your possessions, or interfere in any disputes, or responsible for your flouting of rules & regulations & consequences that may arise out of guest(s) misbehavior.

Adherence to Rules & Regulations:

When a booking is confirmed, the traveler(s) agrees that they will adhere to all such rules & regulations as stipulated by Snow Trail Tours & Holidays during the tour schedule. Please note that any destination, tourist attractions, places, hotels, transport facilities in the itinerary may have their own set of rules & regulations to be followed. All the guest(s) must follow such guidelines if any, without any fail & that failure to abide by these rules may have its own set of repercussions & that traveler(s) will be responsible to face any unintended consequences. We reserve the right to terminate the contract effective immediately in such scenarios. Traveler(s) are requested to stay with the group for the entire tour schedule. Should any tour participant(s) go astray without prior intimation or information, Snow Trail Tours & Holidays shall file a missing person(s) complaint with the local police station & we also reserve the right to proceed the tour without them. We are not responsible or liable for any consequences or additional expenses incurred by the respective traveler(s) in such cases.

General Terms & Conditions:

  1. Plans for accommodation are made subject to availability of hotels/guesthouses/resorts/service apartments/hostels/camping grounds at the destination.
  2. Any specifically mentioned accommodation details in the itinerary are subject to change. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will not recompense for any additional charges that guest(s) may have to incur due to change in the accommodation.
  3. We do not provide any kind of meals until & unless it is exclusively mentioned in our itinerary. In such scenarios, the traveler(s) have to bear their food costs. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays may take the traveler(s) to appropriate restaurants for their meals. It is the right of the traveler(s) to utilize those services.
  4. It is the responsibility of the guest(s) to carry a sufficient amount of money in terms of cash & cards as well. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will not be responsible for any inconvenience you might face due to the shortage of cash.
  5. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays does not allow children under 18 years of age to come on board the tour without an adult accompanying them. If a minor participates in any tour, he/she may do so provided that a consent letter form duly signed by a parent/both parent/legal guardian is submitted before departure. If required such documents should also be presented on demand to any authority at your destinations.
  6. If children under 18 years of age are travelling, the adult accompanying rule should be complied as per the destination site's requirement. Failure to comply by this rule may attract hefty penalty, denying entry permit, and/or cancellation of trip. Please note that Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will not be responsible for such instances and not obligated to make any alternate arrangements for the tour participant(s).
  7. Any additional costs incurred on tour apart from the charges included in the itinerary shall be borne by the traveler(s).
  8. Additional charges, if applicable, will be incurred if there is a change in itinerary due to unforeseeable events.
  9. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to property or luggage during the commute. It is your responsibility to take care of your luggage & valuable items.
  10. Any damage caused by the traveler(s) including but not just limited to vandalizing or damaging properties belonging to accommodation places, resorts, any tourist spots, modes of transportation, shall be borne by them. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays is not responsible for the consequences the traveler(s) may face because of their own actions.
  11. Once a booking has been made in a particular person(s) name it cannot be transferred to another person. If the guest(s) wants a name change, the original booking will be deemed cancelled and a new booking will be made under suitable name as per the current charges.
  12. In cases of international tourists, if requested by the tourist(s), Snow Trail Tours & Holidays may help them in obtaining foreign currency through our foreign exchange partners. Kindly do note that we are just a mediator and we do not own responsibility for any loss or damage that might occur from such a transaction.
  13. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays does not guarantee seating arrangements in flights, trains or buses. Seats are software allocated, and we have no part in seat allocation during such travel.
  14. Traveler(s) are expected to report on time from the start of the tour until the end. Any form of delay in said reporting may cause a change in itinerary for which Snow Trail Tours & Holidays is not responsible.
  15. Traveler(s) should be punctual from the start of the tour until the end. The reporting time mentioned by our representatives over the course of the tour should be respected & followed. Should a guest(s) fail to report on time, we reserve the right to proceed the tour without having to wait for them. Our tour representatives have been authorized to make such decisions in order to avoid any serious issues related to the total tour itinerary resulting from the delay. Any consequences or additional charges incurred due to lack of punctuality should be borne by respective traveler(s) and we will not be liable for such untoward events.
  16. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays is not responsible for any charges/loss the traveler(s) incurs as a consequence of their own action.
  17. As part of hospitality services, we may offer complimentary items for all the tour participant(s). Traveler(s) can accept/decline such things when offered by Snow Trail Tours & Holidays.
  18. All tour participant(s) must behave in a civilized manner for the whole duration of tour. Any changes to this civilized behavior will have its consequences and Snow Trail Tours & Holidays is not responsible for such problems.

Third-Party Services:

All such services that we offer from third-party business owners, vendors and contracts, kindly note that Snow Trail Tours & Holidays is only a mediator and we are not responsible for their service quality or the lack thereof. Quality is the paramount importance to us since we are in the hospitality & service industry, thus we take utmost care in selecting our third-party service providers. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays makes the best efforts to provide invaluable experiences for our guest(s) in all aspects. If the tour participant(s) faces any decline in quality of service from third-party providers due to reasons beyond our control, Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will try to bridge the gap by making an alternate & better arrangement. If any dispute, loss or damage arises between our guest(s) and the third-parties, we will make sure to reach an amicable solution. However, as only facilitators, Snow Trail Tours & Holidays shall not be held responsible or liable in such scenarios.

Governing Law:

If any dispute arises concerning the agreement between you and us, as mentioned in these terms and conditions or otherwise, the laws of Kolkata jurisdiction will apply. You unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kolkata. You also waive any right to object to any action being brought in the courts of Kolkata.

By making a booking with Snow Trail Tours & Holidays, you acknowledge the following terms:

  1. That you are 18 years of age or older
  2. You are aware that these Terms & Conditions are subject to periodical review and updates
  3. That you understand & agree with the above booking Terms & Conditions given at the time of your booking
  4. That you understand the updated version of Terms & Conditions will override all the previous versions
  5. That you agree to adhere to all the rules and regulations stated in the Terms & Conditions
