Booking

Kindly get in touch with your Tour/Travel Manager/Expert. They will advise you with the best options to either proceed with your change of booking or cancellation request.
Once a booking has been confirmed from your end, we will send an acknowledgement via email, SMS & WhatsApp message.

We suggest that you inform us well in advance to make such necessary arrangements to make room for more passengers. Kindly speak to your Tour/Travel Manager/Expert to figure out the best possibility. However, please note that we will not be able to accept any last-minute request.
For domestic tourists: Aadhar card of all tourist(s) is mandatory to proceed with the booking.
For International tourists: Passport of all tour tourist(s) is mandatory to proceed with the booking.
Please note that documentation requirements vary from tour to tour & our Tour Managers will inform you about the required documents at the time of booking. For further details, kindly check the itineraries present in our website to know more about the list of documents required.
Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will always recommend a minimum of 3 months advance booking or at the least as soon as you have decided on your travel plans. In either case, we recommend that you make a confirmed booking not less than 3-weeks before, applicable for Domestic Tourists & at least 6 weeks for International Tourists.
Absolutely yes. We cater to a lot of solo travelers each year. We can either set your booking dates with our group tours or if you would prefer to have your own private tour, that can also be done.
Cancellation/Refund
Kindly read 'Cancellation Conditions' given in our Terms & Conditions to know all about our cancellation & refund policy which is applicable under different situations. We shall mention the details of cancellation charges in the Tour Document.
Refunds [if there is any] will be processed within 10 working days, in the original mode of payment.

Though we recommend you to contact us well in advance for booking a group tour.
Generally, our itineraries have been made to accommodate 15 - 40 people per group for a comfortable & lively experience. However, we are well equipped to handle larger groups such as family get togethers, Corporate Bookings, MICE, etc., on special request. Kindly speak to our Tour experts at the time of booking.
Though we recommend that you notify us at the time of booking about any possible stay extensions, it is possible to extend your stay (Note: given that your visa and/or other legal permits have sufficient days left before its expiry - applicable only for international tourist).
We take care of everything which you may need on your tour to have a rich experience travelling with us - from flight tickets, visas & permits to meals, accommodations, transport & activities etc. Also, our expert Tour/Travel Manager/Expert are experienced & professionally trained on adventure & general First Aid, so your tour is guaranteed to be filled with great memories.
Payment
All payments can be made through credit or debit cards, net banking, NEFT/IMPS transfer, bank deposits, UPI apps like Google Pay, Demand Draft or Cheque. Kindly note that certain modes of payment charge an extra fee which shall be borne by the customer. Visit our website for further details.
Each & every tour has distinct inclusions & exclusions as part of the total cost. Along with the tour itinerary, we will provide the full list of services that are included in the tour cost.
Due to the aggressive nature of flight ticket fares, they are always quoted separately. Kindly refer to your Tour Document for further details & pricing.

Promotions & Offers
Food
Certain tour packages of Snow Trail Tours & Holidays include all or selected meal provisions. We will try to provide these meals at a set time every day totally depending on the tour itinerary. Our trip leader will let you know those details while you are on tour. On tours where meal provisions are not provided by us, our trip leaders will guide you to the best restaurants in each town or city based on your budget, preference & liking.
We suggest that you inform us regarding any form of special meal requirements such as baby meal, fasting meal or food allergies if any at the time of booking. We shall be able to make the necessary arrangements only when we know beforehand about such special requirements.
General FAQ
For certain traveler(s) specifically foreigners, Snow Trail Tours & Holidays may include travel insurance policy as a mandatory, operational or legal requirement. Please read the policy document carefully to understand the clauses & coverage.
In case your dates/work/personal issues do not allow you to join us at the start date, we will try to find a way for you to join us midway (if possible, PS: applicable for group tours only). But we strongly recommend that you inform us while booking so that we can check for necessary arrangements. Please note that Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will confirm such requests only if it is possible to do so.

There is no specific age limit in our recommended tours. However, certain tour itineraries are adventurous in nature and may not be suitable for everyone. We recommend that you review the itineraries carefully before you choose to make a booking.
Generally our tours are personalized in nature, so you would be travelling with your own people since we want you to give you a personal space for yourself while travelling with us.
Please do remember that sometimes you may have to carry your own luggage on and off transport services, so we generally recommend our guest(s) that they pack light with all the essentials.
Laundry facilities can be availed at most places in the tour destination for a small cost(depends on the hotels/stays/resorts).
We will share detailed packing checklist at least 2-3 weeks before the departure date. If you have any specific queries, please contact your Tour/Travel Manager/Expert/Trip Leader to clarify.
We mostly use clean & comfortable air-conditioned coaches for group tours and spacious cars for small family trips. Whatever the form of transport, we make sure the vehicle is clean & comfortable for you to sit while going from one place to the other.
Absolutely yes. We do not believe in just readymade itineraries; we are experts in organizing a customized/tailormade holiday designed to suit your preferences. Just inform us what you want, and we can turn your ideal holiday dream into reality.

Yes, we will process visa and other legal permits as required, generally required for international tourist(s). However, the discretion of issuing a visa solely lies with the competent authority.

Traveler(s) who requires medication on a regular basis should take necessary doses of adequate supplies with them. Otherwise, it is not necessary. However, you may take medical supplies for managing minor ailments like cold, sore throat, diarrhea, etc.
Our Trip Leaders
Our experienced Trip Leaders are the organizer/coordinator behind your successful tour. From taking you to different locations as per itinerary, sharing their knowledge about the place to suggesting places for you to eat & drink. Managing behind-the-scenes actions such as filling out paperwork, reconfirming further bookings or taking risks in case of an emergency, they do all these and much more so that you can have a smooth trip.
Our Trip Leaders are good in English, Hindi and may be fluent in one or more regional languages.
Our Trip Leaders are trained and are prepared to administer first aid for most emergencies that may occur on a trip and make further arrangements to transfer to a hospital.
Accommodation
Generally we book double sharing & triple sharing rooms for our trips. Some adventure/backpacking trips may also involve staying in camping tents & dorms.

Some destinations have ‘tourist tax’, ‘hotel tax’, ‘occupancy tax’ as a policy, local practice & also sometimes as part of their legal requirement. Kindly note that the hotel will ask you to pay the amount at the time of check-in or check-out and we cannot make arrangements to have it prepaid.
Accommodation details will be shared at the time of booking, and any change/update in the request will be made available to you immediately.
Travel Documents
For international tourist(s), passport is a mandatory travel document without which we cannot proceed with booking. (Not applicable on Indian nationals).
It is recommended to have at least 6 months of validity, including the scheduled return date on your passport at the time of your booking.
Requirements differ from country to country based on the nationality of the passport you are holding. Snow Trail Tours & Holidays will inform the guest(s) about visa requirements at the time of enquiry.

Activities And Adventures
For certain tour itineraries/packages activities are included (read the itineraries carefully before booking). Certain special activities are pre-booked based on individual requirements & availability. Our Tour/Travel Manager/Expert will guide you about the available options at the time of booking.
Your required level of fitness varies from activity to activity & your taking part in any activities totally depends on you & Tour/Travel Manager/Expert.
Certain activities which are booked only through government websites like the famous Gondola ride of Gulmarg the refund if any will be mentioned there. Any other activities if cancelled by the tour operator will be duly refunded.
